JMS transformers are manufactures of standard stock transformers as well as being a manufacturer of bespoke and custom made transformers, electrical transformers, chokes, brake coils and phase converters.

JMS manufacture transformers as either single phase, 1ph from 20va up to 500kva, three phase or 3ph from 50va up to 750kva. These can be made to order to your exact specification in days not weeks or supplied from stock. We also can supply and fit any optional extra that you may require. These could range from engraved legends, indicators, meters, overload protection, isolators or anything that you specify.

JMS Transformers are also a supplier of a full range of transformer enclosures from IP20 to IP67 and with many mounting options. JMS also supply and install a full range of CNC engraving, routing and plasma cutting machines. The engravers and router can be supplied from 300mm up to 3 meters.

Three phase Transformers

3ph transformers manufactured to your requirements with fast deliveries. Three phase transformers from 50va up to 75kva are available in enclosures and with any custom fittings that you require. There phase transformers are commonly found in industrial environments where large power levels are needed. There are many configurations that are catered for, including Dzn0, which are ideal for supplies with high harmonic loads that would over heat standard transformers. The inter connected star helps cancel harmonic distortions. Standard Dyn11 and Dyn1 are the most common connection (delta star), Delta Delta and star star are also available. We are able to supply both step up transformers and step down transformers as well as 1:1 isolation transformers.

Panel Transformers

A full range of high quality low temperature rise high efficiency panel transformers are available from stock or made to your own specification. Our panel transformers are available with full earth screen, finger proof terminals, colour coded terminals for easy identification, universal mounting and fully varnish impregnated. Manufactured to the requirements of BS EN ISO 60742, IEC 60076, BS EN 61558 as standard. Full data sheet and dimensions available on request.

Single Phase Transformers

1ph transformers are made to order in days not weeks, or from stock. From 20va to 500kva with any voltage. Manufactured to the requirements of BS EN ISO 60742, IEC 60076, BS EN 61558 as standard. Rapid delivery on custom bespoke transformers

Chokes

Single phase Inductors, three phase inductors manufactured to order. Choke for filter or DC smoothing applications. Fully tested and varnish dip impregnated. Insulation class F and H. High accuracy and cool running.

DC Transformers

AC-DC transformers made to your specific requirements in days not weeks. DC power from a three phase source or from single phase. Smooth DC or raw DC. Power packs for boats, lorries and caravans as well as inverter drives, servo drives and thyristor drives. Industrial power supplies up to 1000a.
