A machined heatsink allows individual components to be thermally managed with the minimum of thermal interfaces at a reasonable cost. This is achieved by fully exploiting the latest 3D CAD CAM systems, machining the heatsink direct from a solid model with the minimum of detailed drawings.

Mechanical Design

CNC Machining
At Innova we pride ourselves on our modern and flexible approach to machining. We have invested and continue to invest in versatile high performance machining centres and programming software enabling us to reduce set up and cycle times.

CAD/CAM
Our CAD/CAM system uses Solidworks combined with one of its Gold partners CAMWORKS that operates completely within the Solid Works user interface.

This allows us to utilise all the advantages of Solidworks and eliminates the need for file transfer.
