Container Hire Services (CHS) are a professional
supplier of temporary site accommodation and storage units. Although relatively
new in the UK, CHS has offices throughout Europe where they offer a wide range
of fleet and bespoke units to a range of clients and have done so for a number
of years.
CHS staff pride themselves on providing the best possible service to clients
having worked within the building industry for a number of years. Units are
provided on time and on budget, allowing the client to focus on their core
business.
Two regional offices currently service the UK based in Glasgow and Merseyside.
Both sites provide the full range of hire and sales services including
manufacture and refurbishment. Large stocks of fleet units are made available
for quick response to client requests.
CHS are different; privately owned, managed locally and customer focussed, the
company has ambitions to grow throughout the UK and Ireland. This growth is only
possible through a loyal client base. Clients do return to CHS time and again
reporting positive experiences when working with a supplier who really cares.
Health safety and welfare at work is a serious consideration when arranging site
accommodation.
CHS provide all required services within one cabin which meet the CIS18 and
HSG150 requirements: ‘Provision of welfare facilities at fixed construction
sites’.
If you are an employer or are self-employed, you need to ensure that everyone
working under your control is either provided with or has access to suitable
welfare facilities. This will need to be agreed with the person who has overall
control of the site.
Welfare cabins are identified using different phrases such as: welfare unit,
heart unit, solo unit, oasis unit, mobile cabin or full service cabin all of
which best describe the cabin itself.
Each cabin is self contained providing comfortable facilities including canteen,
messing, office, drying room and low flush wc.
Cabins are powered by a fully serviced, low noise diesel generator providing
heating, lighting and power sockets.
Two welfare cabin sizes are available: 20’ x 8’ and 26’ x 10’ both sizes offer
the services described above and both are very competitively priced.
CHS also offer a fuel management package enabling clients to use the welfare
unit without having to re-order fuel every few days.
All welfare cabins are regularly serviced to replenish the clean water tank and
empty the waste water tank when required.
The unit will outperform those of its rivals through design innovations
which make the CHS Welfare Cabin robust and cost effective for the end user.
