CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
MANUFACTURERS
Packo Pumps is a long established
international Centrifugal Pump Manufacturer offering high quality centrifugal pumps and lobe
pumps to OEM's and end users throughout Europe and the UK.
Packo manufacture a full range of stainless
steel centrifugal pumps and lobe pumps to cover all areas of industry from food,
drinks, brewery, chemical and pharmaceutical, through to general industrial
pumps.

Hygienic Pumps |
|
The FP2 hygienic centrifugal pumps range is the result of over 40 years of
experience in the manufacture of stainless steel pumps for the food and the
pharmaceutical processing industries. They are designed according to the
strictest clean ability standards. The construction complies with the
3A-standard and more important, this Packo
pump was the first centrifugal pumps in the world to obtain EHEDG certification.
-
All stainless steel parts in
contact are Electropolished as a final surface treatment.-
The
Packo FP2 pumps are mainly used in the food and processing
industries.-
Some actual applications are:
milk, egg, soya, beer, wort, wine, fruit juices, soft-drinks, alcohol,
yeast, starch, vegetable and ethereal oils, sugar solutions, brine, blood,
light chemicals, solvents, detergents, water, CIP-solutions, etc.

Lobe Pumps |
|
The
compact ROTORFLO lobe pump is designed and manufactured to international
standards, with all wetted parts in 316L stainless steel.
Displacement of the ROTORFLO is directly proportional to the rotational speed.
The pumps fulfil the broad spectrum of process pumping duties where hygienic and
non-corrosive operation is critical.
The advanced rotor profile of the ROTORFLO, generated from a pure geometric
form, reduces product acceleration to a minimum within the pumping chamber. This
ensures a smooth, quiet, low-shear operation, combined with reduced N.P.S.H.
requirement over the full performance range.
The low-shear characteristics of the ROTORFLO ensure the efficient transfer of
all liquid viscosities up to semi-plastic including delicate suspended solids,
aggressive slurries, pastes, froths and gas/liquid mixtures without damaging the
product. |

Air Handling
Scavenge Pumps |
|
The CRP series, based on the FP2 pump is an air handling centrifugal pumps which
is commonly used as a CIP return and tanker unloading pump. Large internal
clearances make it less susceptible to wear, damage by foreign bodies and
impurities in the product when compared to liquid ring pumps.
-
The
Packo scavenge pump is mainly used in the food and processing
industries.-
Typical applications are as a
CIP return/scavenge pump and for the emptying of tanks/vehicles of food
products such as milk, egg, soya, beer, wort, wine, fruit juices,
soft-drinks, alcohol, yeast, starch, vegetable and ethereal oils, sugar
solutions, etc.

Industrial
Pumps |
|
For over 40 years the ICP2 pump has proven itself as a very reliable process
pump in the general processing industries. After the successful expansion with
the ICP3 pump, the quest for larger flows and heads has led to the development
of the new ICP4 pump with flow rates up 1000 m3/h achievable.
Electropolished stainless steel construction, standard motors and seals form the
main characteristics of this pump series. All these characteristics together
with the solid construction and the large passages make this pump range
excellent to pump impure, aggressive and light chemical liquids. |

|
Free Passage
Pumps |
|
The
Packo IFF2 range are standard single stage centrifugal pumps with a
deeper pump casing than the standard FP2, allowing solids to pass through the
pump. The VDVM range with vortex impeller and the VDKM with channel impeller are
the stainless steel reference for carefully pumping vulnerable, fibrous or
abrasive solids in suspension. Typical applications in the food industry are the
handling of vegetables, fruits, shellfish, etc. |

|
Cantilever
Pumps |
|
The
immersion pump is designed for installation in a sump or tank, having only the
casing and impeller submerged. They are used in applications with liquids which
are difficult to seal with a mechanical shaft seal and when no support bearing
inside the liquid is allowed, such as hot frying oil, abrasive slurries, and
metal finishing coatings.
There are no seals, submerged bearings or bushes exposed to the product, thereby
reducing downtime and operating costs. The pumps are capable of operating dry
with no adverse effects. Renewable shaft “labyrinth” sleeve minimizes blow-back
of liquid around shaft. Provides added pump shaft protection against abrasives.
