Founder Frederick Goodliffe created his business to offer a flexible service based on customer needs. Over time, the business was handed to his three sons and the co-leadership focus brought about an ever-expanding level of service provision and new market penetration. This formed the foundation of the OCS Group UK Ltd as it stands today. Trading though two brands OCS and its sister company Cannon focus on site based activities and logistics respectively. The OCS acronym now represents the company philosophy of `One Complete Solution’.

OCS is an international group, providing services based around four core activities - engineering, catering, security and cleaning - with additional logistical services such as Pigeon Control London, hygiene, confidential waste destruction, textile care and consumables through Cannon creating a complete integrated customer solution. The main areas of geographic focus are UK/Europe and Asia Pacific, embracing South East Asia and Australasia.

OCS WasteLine, handling virtually all waste requirements and offering highly competitive prices and quality service by utilising the specialist resources of network partners, offers recycling programmes across entire businesses and multiple sites.

OCS is a major force in the security sector, not just in manned-guarding but in the provision of leading edge CCTV, access control systems and services such as bug sweeps, VIP protection, close combat training and assistance with corporate investigations.

With around 3,500 security guards operating via eighteen nationwide operations centres the group was among the first to put its guards through the regulatory licensing process, gaining SIA Approved Contractor Status earlier this year.

OCS’ Integrated Services provides a multiple support approach, delivered to the highest standards through company divisions such as OCS Catering, OCS Cleaning and Cannon Horticulture.

This service bundle allows one contract and one point of contact, taking efficiency and service to the highest level through specialisation in design, development and service delivery. OCS Transport provides a range of cost effective packages to support private and public transport operators across the UK and employs over 2,000 highly trained staff to provide the highest service to the transport sector.
