Ampco Mouldings is a family run
business that specialises in plastic vacuum forming. We use high quality
materials such as ABS, HIPS, fire r etardant
thermoplastics and exterior grade UV stable. We have over 20 years experience
and an extensive knowledge of the Vacuum Forming process.
We maintain close customer relationships and offer a cost effective Vacuum
Forming service. By offering reliable deliveries, quality products and
competitive prices we have twice been awarded Supplier of the Year status by
some impressive blue chip companies from our existing customer base. To help
companies benefit from Vacuum Forming we are able to help with the development
and often the full design of products. The thickness of moulds can range between
0.5mm to 8mm, all moulds trimmed and assembled if required. You can be confident
in the quality of our services as we operate to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
We are also able to offer Tooling and Jig manufacture here at Ampco Mouldings.
We can turn an idea of yours into a prototype in just a matter of days. Tools
can be manufactured in either wood, resin or aluminium and produced to meet your
batch requirements. All tools and frames are setup at our manufacturing facility
in West Sussex.
Vacuum Forming is by far the most versatile moulding medium, with smaller
outlays and fast setup of tooling. One of the main advantages of Vacuum Forming
is how cost effective the solution is over other moulding processes like
Injection Moulding. Moulds can be manufactured in a wide variety of plastics and
colours with short lead times.
