We supply the UK and Republic of
Ireland direct from leading German Aluminium producers:
ALUnna Tubes -

and Gutmann Aluminium Draht Gmbh -
www.gutmann-wire.com
A wide range of products is
available from Aluminium Extruded Tubes – Aluminium
Drawn Tubes – Aluminium Wire – Aluminium Wire Rods –
Aluminium Conform Products – Aluminium Extruded and
Drawn Bars – Aluminium Profiles – Aluminium Strip.
All material is produced to International specifications
and standards including a range of Aerospace products.
We do not hold any stock material as all items are
produced to our customer’s specific requirements.
Seamless
Extruded Tubes – Seamless tubes can be produced in
all available alloys. Using a number of different
container sizes on the mandrel piercing presses, a wide
range of sizes can be produced. A range of alloys in the
1000 – 2000 – 3000 – 5000 – 6000 and 7000 series are
available. Sizes range from 17 to 300 mm outer diameter
depending upon the wall thickness.
Porthole Extruded Tubes – This is the standard
production method for extrusions in the aluminium
industry. Tubes produced by this method are generally
limited to a specific number of alloys. Typically alloys
EN AW-6063 or EN AW-6082 are chosen. However porthole
extrusion of other low alloyed materials is also
possible including other alloys in the 6000, 1000 and
3000 series. Sizes range from 11 to 355 mm outer
diameter depending upon the wall thickness. Further

Both
Porthole Extruded Tubes and Seamless Extruded Tubes can
be cold drawn to reduce diameter, wall thickness or to
improve dimensional accuracy and Mechanical Properties.
Aluminium Drawn Tubes have many applications both in the
Commercial sector and for use in the Aerospace and
Defence Industries.
All available alloys can be cold drawn with sizes
ranging from 5 mm to 280 mm outer diameter depending
upon the wall thickness.
Aluminium
drawn wire can be supplied in a size range from 0.10 mm
to 15.00 mm diameter. Many alloys are available in the
1000 – 2000 – 3000 – 4000 – 5000 – 6000 and 7000 alloy
series. A wide range of Tempers (mechanical properties)
can be produced depending upon the chosen alloy. Most
dimensions can be supplied on plastic or metal reels,
small coils of 10 to 50 kgs, in cardboard drums and
large coils of 200 – 1000 kgs. Both round and flat wire
can be produced for a wide variety of uses including
Cold heading wire – Metallising wire – Flame spray wire
– Tea bag and food clip wire – Electrical industry –
General engineering – Welding Wire (MIG + TIG) and many
more applications. Further details at

Aluminium
drawn rods can be supplied in cut lengths up to 3000 mm
long in the same dimensions and alloys as Aluminium
drawn wire; some diameters may not be suitable depending
upon the alloy and temper.
As well as round rods a range of shaped profile bars can
also be produced, details upon request.

Aluminium Conform Products |
With
the unique Conform extruding process it is possible to
produce long continuous lengths of solid or hollow
profiles without further processing, this is supplied on
drums of approximately 300 kgs. Typical alloys are
EN-AW-1350A, EN AW-1050A, EN AW-3003 and EN AW-3103.
Sizes range from 5 mm to 30 mm. A further option is a
drawing step to meet demanding tolerances and to produce
in straight cut lengths.

Aluminium Extruded Bars and
Aluminium Drawn Bars |
Aluminium
extruded bars – A range of extruded bars can be
supplied in round, square, rectangular and other shapes.
These are produced in a wide size and alloy range from
13 to 160 mm diameter for round bars. Size range for
other shapes is available upon request.
Aluminium drawn bars – Cold drawing extruded bars
can improve the dimensional tolerances especially for
machining applications. Size range for round bars is 12
to 70 mm diameter, sizes for other shapes is available
upon request.

Aluminium Extruded Profiles |
Aluminium
Extruded Profiles can be produced by the seamless or
porthole extrusion method depending upon the application
and specific alloy. Profiles range from simple solid to
complex hollow shapes and some can even enhanced
dimensional by adding a final cold drawing step.
Profiles can be produced in alloy ranges 1000 – 2000 –
3000 – 5000 – 6000 – 7000 series. Porthole profiles are
restricted mainly to the 1000 – 3000 – 6000 alloy
series.
Aluminium
strip is available in widths of 4.0 to 450 mm and
thickness of 0.2 to 2.5 mm. Surfaces can be: bright one
side, bright both sides, mill finish, brightening
quality and anodising quality. Aluminium strip is
supplied in coils with an internal diameter of 150 to
500 mm or in strips of 1000 to 5000 mm. Available alloys
are – EN AW 1050A – 1090 – 1350 – 3103 – 5210 – 5505 –
5657 – 5754 – 6082. |
