Thorite was first established in 1850 and is still headed by a member of the founding Wright family. From a small Bradford-based supplier to Yorkshire’s nineteenth century textile factories Thorite has grown to become Britain’s premier pneumatics distributor.

We now supply air compressors and air tools to a wide range of manufacturing and service industries from our Bradford National Distribution Centre, supported by a network of eight Sales/Service Centres located throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East. We also specialise in the design and installation of pneumatics process systems, especially for the printing, food processing, pharmaceuticals and packaging industries. A unique pricing structure lets our customers compare our costs with those of competitors and a Customer Relationship Management system builds precise customer profiles, which enables news of products of interest to individual clients to be despatched on a regular basis.
