Tape Slitting
When a job is ready to be done there can’t be anything worse than
delaying it just for the tape that is required. In 2010 we have
installed a brand new state of the art CMC log slitter with 500mm
diameter capacity for improved quality control and better response
times. Not only do we get your order out the door quick, but it will
be slit to size for you with great care and accuracy.

Acrylic Foam Tape
The number of benefits of our Acrylic Foam Tape, also known as ‘VHB
Tape’ over other tapes or fixing methods is numerous. Ultimate
bonding power, clarity, no internal splitting of the foam, no
discolouration, loss of bond strength or oxidation over any length
of time, weather resistance and shock absorbance just to name a few.
Acrylic Foam Tapes have become a popular permanent fixing method in
many areas of manufacturing and assembly. These extruded acrylic
adhesives are used to bond metals, plastics, composites, ceramics
and glass. When applications for technical adhesive tape are as
critical as, for example, mounting roof panels in an Olympic
stadium, then the responsibility has to be taken serious. At SKD we
offer a full range of Clear, White and Grey Acrylic Foam Tapes to
suit a wide variety of substrates and applications.
Foam Tape, PE and EVA
Used in construction, DIY, automotive assembly, point-of-sale and
sign and display manufacturing. Double sided EVA foam tape, high
density, solvent acrylic PE foam tape, black automotive quality PE
foam tape with green filmic liner. We can offer a complete range in
handy small rolls or long length rolls for less roll-changes. Our PE
foam tapes are sold either full width to converters, or any slit
width to suit the end application.
Tissue Tape
Our non woven tissue tapes are most commonly used for making
otherwise non-adhesive flexible materials self-adhesive. For example
foam, rubber, magnetic rubber, leather and paper. Due to their high
initial tack and heavy coat-weight they adhere well to naturally
uneven materials. We offer special tissue tapes that resist
plasticizers even for longer periods of time at elevated
temperatures.
